Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the ActiveSite service operated by ActiveSite ("us", "we", or "our"). Your access to and use of the service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the service.
2. Accounts
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.
3. Use of the Service
ActiveSite provides an automated content generation and publishing pipeline for static websites. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service to generate or publish content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its related systems.
- Use the service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
- Use automated means to access the service other than through our provided API or integrations.
4. GitHub Integration
The service integrates with GitHub via OAuth. By connecting your GitHub account, you authorise ActiveSite to commit generated content to repositories you designate. You are solely responsible for the repositories you connect and the content committed to them. You may revoke this authorisation at any time through your GitHub account settings.
5. Content Ownership
You retain ownership of all content committed to your repositories through the service. ActiveSite does not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You are responsible for ensuring the content generated and published via the service complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights.
6. AI-Generated Content
ActiveSite facilitates the use of third-party AI writing services. We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or originality of AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing published content and ensuring it meets your standards before or after publication.
7. Payment and Billing
Certain features of the service are available on a subscription basis. You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan. Fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis and are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
8. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings.
9. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall ActiveSite, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
